“What a beautiful day we had in Lasseran, a ‘Village of Peace’ in the Gers.
A day spent with children, parents, volunteers from Amnesty International du Gers, CCM32, artists such as Paulina Kamakine, poet, storytellers such as Christian Villeneuve and Véronique Grosjean, and Marie Christine Berjonval.
A day spent with Migrants pour un monde sans frontières, who bring light to our humanity by means of calligraphies of poems in many languages. Also with Olivier Claeys and his bamboo creations, the kites made by children, which soared off carrying smiles, sunshine and messages of peace, the musical instruments made of rushes and bamboo...
We shared a meal and cakes from all over the world, and the day ended with a Gascon ball.
Thank you to everyone who made this day a rich and bright moment of sharing.”
